You signed up for Peloton, got the equipment installed and all the details sorted out. But now it’s been a few months and you’re starting to realize that this isn’t really for you. Maybe you found another workout you enjoy more, or perhaps you just don’t have the time to fit it into your schedule. Whatever the reason, you know that it’s time to cancel your Peloton subscription.
No worries—it’s totally understandable if you need to switch things up. Fortunately, the process of canceling your subscription is fairly straightforward and easy thanks to Peloton’s simple user interface.

Ways to End Your Peloton Subscription
Terminating your Peloton subscription is a straightforward process. You can do it online using the Peloton app, by emailing customer service, or even by snail mail! Here’s what you need to know:
- Peloton App: If you’re still using the Peloton App, the first step is to sign into your account. Then, move over to “My Account” and select “Subscription.” At this point, you should see an option to end your subscription. Follow the instructions and complete the process.
- Customer Service: To cancel through customer service simply email customer service at help@onepeloton.com and explain that you’d like to terminate your Peloton membership. A customer service representative will walk you through any other steps required for cancelation.
- Snail Mail: If all else fails, you can also send a written letter of cancelation to One Peloton Studio LLC, 122 West 26th Street 2nd Floor New York, NY 10001 in order to close out your account and end your subscription.
No matter which method you choose for canceling your subscription—whether it’s through the app, email or snail mail—make sure it is done within 14 days of when billing is set to renew in order to avoid any additional charges being applied.
How to Cancel Your Digital Membership
No matter if you’re just trying out Peloton for a month or have been cycling with the community for a while, canceling your digital membership is fast and easy. Here’s how to do it:
- Open the Peloton app and select the profile icon at the top right of the screen.
- Scroll down and select Account Settings, then Manage Subscriptions.
- Select Cancel Digital Membership.
- Confirm your selection when prompted and your subscription will be canceled immediately.
If you’ve recently purchased a Peloton Bike or Tread, canceling your Digital Membership won’t affect it—you can still use it as much as you’d like without having an active subscription. Keep in mind that if you decide to resume your membership in the future, you’ll need to pay the full cost of the current monthly plan rates—it won’t simply renew at your previous rate from before cancelation.

Maybe you’re having a hard time navigating the website or you have specific questions for Peloton. Whatever your reason for wanting to contact customer service, it’s actually a really simple process.

- Email – You can also fill out a customer service form online and they’ll email back with an answer as soon as possible (usually within 48 hours).

Enrolling in a Different Program
If you’re thinking of switching to a different Peloton program, you’ll have to cancel the subscription for your current one first. It’s easy, but here are a few things to keep in mind:
Cancelation Fees
Depending on the terms of your contract, there may be a cancelation fee when you switch programs. Be sure to read through your agreement carefully before canceling so you know exactly what you’re signing up for.
Refunds
If you have prepaid for your subscription, you may be eligible for a refund. Again, check the terms of your contract for more information on refunds.
Remaining Credits
If you’ve purchased credits that aren’t tied to a specific program, those won’t expire and can still be used after canceling a program.
Peloton Digital Subscription
If you want to try something other than Peloton classes and workouts, consider signing up for their digital-only membership. With this option, access thousands of on-demand classes without needing any additional equipment.
Canceling and Refunds
If you’d like to cancel your Peloton Membership, here’s how:
First, go to the “Settings” menu in the Peloton app and select “Membership & Billing.” Select “Cancel Your Subscription” and confirm your cancelation. This will end your membership and you won’t be charged again.
If you have already paid for a subscription that you’d like to cancel and receive a refund for, you can contact Peloton’s customer service team. Peloton offers refunds on a case-by-case basis, depending on when you request the refund and how long you have been a member. If you are within their 7-day free trial period, they will typically provide a full refund. In other cases, it might be partial or no refund at all depending on the circumstances of your membership.
